Found a N00bie guide when i was bored & ended up at LoM-HQ (credits go to IntelKnight, i just copied & pasted hehehe).
It's good for all mir3's i guess, names might be slightly different for each mir3 around:

Here is list of pointers on how to get thru first few levels of this game, which is not that hard, and does not require leeching off the high-level players. It quite is real to reach (on Phoenix) lv.11 in after 1-2 nights of gameplay, and lv.22 in a week or two.

0. Character selection. Sorcerer (Sorc) levels the fastest, and deals tons of damage, but takes skill to achieve full potential. Warrior (Warr) is easiest to control but gets tedious at times. Taoist (Tao) is a support character that takes at least as much care as Sorc, but does not level that fast. If you never played an action-RPG, pick Warrior; if you did - pick Sorc; pick Tao if you know the game and have friends in it.

1. Do the quests. You will be killing the same monsters anyway, so you might as well get the extra experience, gold and items. When you are done with a quest, re-login (Alt-X) to get the next one. By the time you get OmaHorn, you will probably be lv.14; once you get it, go look what lays behind that door, and decide whether to try it or level up a bit (that means lv.22 for Warriors in most cases)

1.1 TAO only: the kill will not count towards the quest if death blow comes from grey poison, or is boosted by yellow poison. This applies to mobs that give quest-specific item (e.g. YetiClaw, quest bosses); using poison is OK to get regular booty if that’s what quest asks for (e.g. SpiderTooth)

2. Use AutoPots (press "S"). You must set EACH_&_EVERY of FOUR things: (1)"ON", (2) pot type, (3) HP/MP level when pot is taken, and (4) PRIORITY. You might want to set MP to get you 10-20 points below max MP level to take advantage of regeneration. If you fight tough mobs, set up a complete HP restoration after you loose half your HP.

3. Now that autpots are on, get used to spending money on pots. Once you move beyond HookingCats, pots are your fuel - you buy as many as you can carry, spend them hunting, come back to "re-pot". HP/MP regeneration is not fast enough. If you like gold, think of it as an investment into higher levels –& easier gold-making that comes with it. See 8 below on making gold to buy pots.

4. Learn to run. There is no point in being swarmed - you waste HP, you loose a chance to hit the enemy every time you take a hit, you loose items and experience when you die. So, if you attract attention of too tough a mob, or too large a crowd, run till their red dot disappears from the map. The only reason to get swarmed is if you are a Warrior with HalfMoon (lv.24 skill), or a Sorc training FlameRepulsor or MagicShield.

4.1 You can run past melee monsters w/o fighting them - no matter how ugly they are, just one square between you and them means they can't hit you.

5. Know your strength and stick to it. Melee fighting is for Warriors only - they have skills and stats for it. Sorcs deal damage with spells, and take none themselves (especially not from melee mobs). Taos use ALL of their skills in combination - ranged attacks to avoid damage, summoned "pets" for living shields, poison to soften up the enemy.

6. Get items that boost critical stats of your class.
Warrior: DC,AC;
Sorc: M-Nature;
Tao: start with DC,AC; switch to M-Soul when you get TaoExplosion and EvilSlayer.
here is the list of items you should be getting at each level (US server Phoenix).

7. Skills - you should get all of them, as soon as your level gets high enough. Check the skill tree and keep an eye out for books that you will need in the future. There are 3 bookstores in 3 towns, all with different inventories (many books are sold to the store by the players, who get them by killing monsters).

If the book is not in any bookstore, use CommissionShop - book drops are very infrequent, specifically to encourage trade between players. See >>9<< below on making gold.

8. There is a reason for like 20 different dungeons in the game, and that's not just b/c for different difficulty levels or variety (Mu Online is doing fine with ~7 maps). Mir3 dungeons give you different stuff - some have good experience, others - gold, yet another one - items or books. Specifically:
Books: lv.7-14 - SkeleCaves; 14-22 – DeadPit@Bichon (lv.20, aka "zombie cave", "mines")
Cash: FleaCave@Prajna (lv.20); Prajna South (25), AntColony@Bichon (25), etc.
Items: lv.7-14 - SkeleCaves; lv.14-25 - PrajnaStoneCave (lv.30)

9. For experience (XP), you want to hunt toughest mobs you can. For one thing, you will spend more time dealing damage, and less time looking for prey. For another, it seems that mob HP grows slower than XP – so that one tough mob will be faster to kill than several lesser ones with same total XP.
Finally, mobs with similar experience can take different time to kill, especially since higher-level mobs are vulnerable to certain elements. This depends on your skills, so if you get bored (and you will), try counting how many hits it takes to kill this or that mob, and compare to XP you get from it.

A few pointers for Caster classes (Sorc & Tao)

10. Targeting. You can hurl spells at mobs and run around at the same time. Notice that after first hit, the mob name remains displayed even after you move mouse pointer away from it. You’re “locked” onto that target, and can use the mouse to move; when you press F-key again, you will hit that same mob. Actually, you can use mouse to run around while F-key is pressed – you will continue attacking once you stop moving.

11. Range. You can "outrange" many ranged attackers - ElectricZombies, ShooterAnts, NumaMonks, ZumaArchers. Your range of fire (your screen) is one square longer than theirs, so you can keep hitting them while they can’t hit you.
The trick is to keep them at the edge of the screen, taking a step back each time they move closer to you. Edge of screen is tricky to define in vertical dimension. You can hit a monster if you can see their feet; at bottom of screen, it means seeing entire monster, at top - you can see mob’s feet, but not the name.

12. Higher-level dungeons have mobs near-immune to some elements, and vulnerable to others. So you want to use a proper spell, e.g.:

ZumaTemple(ZT) – Fire (AdamantineFireBall), Dark (TaoExplosion)
PrajnaTemple(PT) – Cold (IceBlades), Wind(Gr.Pwr.Br.), Holy (EvilSlayer)

And yes, teen Sorc and Tao can and should hunt in PT and ZT once they have the spells. Taos should use green poison to prevent mob healing, Sorc’s spells are powerful enough as is.

If you want more info on elemental resistances/vulnerabilities, go Information on this website, or visit www.lomhq.com

13. Taos can equip a bag of poison instead of right bracelet, so you can have that and the talisman at the same time.
